If you can't put finishing nails in your wall for a light picture frame, this might be the next best thing.

Acting as a hybrid between a finishing nail and a command strip, this part allows you to place a low-profile hook behind a picture frame that doesn't have space for adhesive strips. This is only suitable for lighter frames since it only uses one large (0.75 x 3.65 in) command strip, though you could double the width to add a second strip in the recessed channel on the back of the part. This design also has the advantage that you may be able to use fewer strips to hang your frames.

I recommend you weigh your frames before using this. Large strips are marketed for around 5 pounds (give or take), so make sure you've got a good redundancy - the last thing I want is for you to break a frame or its contents!
