For 3D print wall mounts I've just made sure there was a flat area on the back of the model that could accommodate the number of 3M adhesive strips I decided to use. This has worked well. It has turned out that a 3D print done with a 0.4 nozzle has been flat enough for the adhesive to work. The problem with this method is the non adhesive tab that facilitates the eventual removal of the wall mount hangs out the bottom of whatever is mounted, in plain view. This adapter solves that problem similar to the way 3M does, with a piece that sticks on the wall that ends up with the exposed tab, and a second piece that snaps on top to hide the tab. I make a model of something I want to attach to a wall, then add this adapter to the back of it, then print. I added two of these side by side on one model, for extra strength. I print in ABS, but I have tested in PLA and it works. I think supports are necessary for good results, the Bambu Studio file is set up with organic tree supports and brim
