This is a small box I designed to add a removable power jack and 2 switches to my custom built 3uP printer. Both the power jack, and both switches were harvested from dead PC power supplies that I had lying around.
One switch controls the main power, and the second one allows me to turn off the LED lighting strip when not needed. You will have to drill 2 mounting holes for the power jack. I did not include these as part of the print in case there are differences in the power jack you obtain.
You will see 2 sets of holes on the sides of the box. This allows for mounting it to the side rail, and access to the hex screws. The back cover can be omitted if you like. I left it a tight fit so it is simply held in place by friction. While you could glue it together, I would recommend leaving it as is in case you ever needed to repair the wiring. Enjoy and let me know if there are any changes that need to be made.
