4" Duct Interconnect

Flange and threaded adapter for 4" diameter ducts. Top portion threads onto duct hose, bottom half mounts to flat surface. The halves twist lock together for portable installs. This was designed for a portable air conditioner unit.

This is the sixth iteration. Previous prints were adjusted to make threading better for the duct, add more twist locks to the interconnect for stability, fix parts of the model that didn't print properly, etc. Still working out how to print this without supports, but for the time being they are necessary. Used PETG for UV/moisture resistance, and printed on a bambu P1S with generic petg settings, 15% infill, 3 walls.
