I bought some 4040 extrusion for a cnc build project and realised there is lots of things out there for 2020 but little for 4040. So I designed and built my own carriage.
It is modular in design and uses the same clamp arrangement as used in my 4040 t-nut so you can just plug them in etc.

It is designed for linear motion on extrusion and uses both sides so is not v-slot etc.
I have included the tinkercad object file as this was made before I started using OpenSCAD. Hope it helps people to remix
Features
Modular so split the stl and print what you need :-)
Hardware Needed
For Each Full Carriage Mount
--6 x M5 x 30mm Bolts
--18 x M5 Nuts. Used as spacers but you could use washers or springs
--6 x Wheels. I used 22mm OD by 7mm Width bearing type with 5mm hole
Other Notes.
--You may need to tweak the scale etc depending on the accuiracy of your printer and your exact extrusion.
