Valve Lifter Plate

This is an example of rapid prototyping. I'm currently working for a company in San Francisco designing an engine. I printed these out and took them to a design review meeting. Everyone said it was much nicer to touch the parts than to just look at Solidworks renders. The two parts at the back were for two separate stages of the engine, the hole spacings are subtly different. The result of the design review is the piece at the front, which is designed to replace both of them and of course saves
