This is a scale model of the Engineering Cairn (http://www.ubcengineers.ca/about/tradition/the-cairn/) on the University of British Columbia's campus.
In order to save on material (and so that the model can double as a 'drinking' glass) the interior is hollow. It has a capacity of 1.5 ounces.
