Bannermans Castle

Bannermans Island Arsenal, commonly called "Bannermans Castle", which sits on lonely Pollepol Island in the Hudson River, south of Beacon NY. This is just north of Storm King mountain and Breakneck Ridge. Riders on Metro North Railroad's Hudson Line see this island on every trip. This model is of the central "Castle" and the still-standing Warehouse 3. The ruins of Warehouse 2 are covered in poison ivy and thus not visible. The model was displayed at the 2014 Dutchess County Fair in Rhinebeck
