45deg stand adapter

The tool stands included with Craftsman's Model #CMHT26001-2 Hex/Allen key set are not as useful or user friendly as they could be. Although the stand's mounting holes are spaced so that they line up with 1 inch peg board holes, I do not think its likely that the tools can reliably stay in the stands when mounted against a vertical wall. When mounted on a horizontal surface like a bench or a shelf, the sizes written on top of the stand can not be seen well. Its also hard to pull the wrenches out (straight up) when mounted on a shelf or on a bench if they are set back too far from the user's position.

I made this 45 degree adapter so that when used on a horizontal surface, they take up less height and are easier to read and to pull straight out. When mounted on a vertical surface, the tools stay in place but, are still easy to read and access.

If you want to be able to move them around then you can mount the adapter to a heavy base with a little more girth so that they will not fall
