RV awning pull

For attaching strap to awning on a motorhome (aka RV).
The store bought awning pulls are stitched right into the plastic rod which is great right up until the strap dry rots which it envariable does right where it attaches. It is a real bear to try to stich into the plastic by hand if you need to repair one.
My anchor has a slot so that you can cut off the end, rethread it and restitch it and you are back in business.
