Twisty soft curve penta-vase

I've done some playing with the openscad basics and found that the extrude function is pretty limited when it comes to more complex shape creation.
This is generated using mathematically generated 3D coordinates in a list and then picking off the values into a base, layers of paired triangles around the circumference and then a top, triangles from the perimeter to the centre. Each triangle is supposed to be drawn clockwise looking at the outside, do it the wrong way and in "thrown together" mo
