4L60E PUMP SEAL DRIVER

This is a one time use seal driver for a GM 4L60E transmission press in filter seal. I had one that was damaged when the filter was removed. This design allows a lot of movement of the seal and for it to not damage the seal itself. Round only the inner lip with a file. The lower part of the driver will only need to be cleaned up. The pump is recessed and very tight, the top of the lower lip must be crisp or it will not work. This also may take a print or two to size correctly. Remember the inner lip is supposed to be loose as to not damage the seal. This works with the transmission in the vehicle. The backing washer only need to be some where close in size to work, but smaller than the outer part of the driver. Hope this helps someone.
