This LED holder is for a 5 mm LED.
The hole for this LED holder should be 7 mm.
The inner radius, in which the LED snaps into place, is smaller than the LED and should therefore secure the LED holder in the hole against falling out (see pictures with caliper).
In addition I also places in the project a tool, to remove the LED off the LED holder.
You can use both sides, but the side with the cut, is for the LED wire when they are bent.

I just noticed, the the dimensions are of course not in m but in mm.
