This was an early prototype of a jet engine compressor but it didn't end up working all that well. This could likely be improved if It was manufactured out of metal or printed with tighter clearances.
Assembly:
assemble rotor around an 8mm steel shaft and stack each rotor section in number order. Use 2x M5 thread forming screws approximately 80-90mm in length to secure the rotor stack. Bolt motor (designed for 40mm diameter brushless motors) on to the motor mounting plate with the appropriate screws. Balance well and attach to a 5mm motor shaft by drilling a small hole and putting an M2 bolt through. Use a 608 (22mm o.d.) bearing at the rear of the rotor stack with the provided spacer. Glue stators into each case half and screw together with M3.5 thread forming screws.
note: make sure parts can rotate freely or any friction will cause the rotor to melt/seize up
