51mm Cover Cap / Plug

I designed this cap because the flip-down handle on my crawl space hatch left an ugly open hole in the laminate when folded down. It bugged me, so I made this. The cap has a 60mm lip that sits 2mm above the surface, with a 50.5mm plug that drops 9mm into the 51mm hole for a nice easy fit. The inside is hollowed out to 40mm to save filament and the edges are chamfered so it slides in smoothly. Pop it in to hide the hole, pop it out when you need to access your crawl space. Done. I printed mine in ASA since the crawl space hatch is right by the front door. This way it handles UV, moisture, wet shoes, mud, and general wear much better than PLA would in that spot.
