This stuff can mount an M8 threaded rod on aluminium frame, using an M3x6 Hex screw with cylinder head.
Designed using SketchUp Make 2015
v2 - enlarged size (20mm x 20mm), M3x8 screw will not scratch aluminum frame.
v3 - redesigned using 2 M3x8 screws which can be removed while M8 rod is screwed in.
