555 box with LED display

A simple project to make mattstroud's 555 Timer / 8 Pin DIP Box into a fun electronics project. Just another blinkenlight one.

You need to print out the 555 timer box and 4 simple LED mounts (for 5mm LEDs) - Instructions for how to do that are below.

The circuit is based around an Arduino Nano that will flash the lights in a couple of different ways - **coming soon**

#Simple led mount.
Designed for 3mm but it is good for 5mm LED, just to adjust the scale. (3mm to 5mm = 166%)

#555 Timer / 8 Pin DIP Box


This is based on the Snap-On 555 model, but modified to turn it into a storage box with a lid, so you can store all your precious bits and bobs in a lovely 555 Timer chip storage box. Enjoy!

As requested by another user, there is also a plain lid incase people want to modify it to add custom chip numbe
