Aladdin Drink Jar to Wide Mouth Lid Adapter

Those Alladin drink jars that look like mason jars are not really the same size as mason jars, so the lids don't fit. All of the lids available have holes in them for straws. This adapter lets you use the really inexpensive plastic wide mouth lids you can buy at the store to work on these jars. They will seal watertight and are handy for hauling soup or nuts. I would advise against using the drink jars for hot canning.
