570-size quadcopter frame

This quadcopter frame is sandwich type, making it very strong and light. It has lots of room for electronics and other equipment. Battery straps to the bottom with velcro straps, ESCs go inside arms or middle level and flight controller on top. It is possible to make a very clean build with this frame.

Maximum propeller size for this frame is 13" when you use 200 mm long 20 mm diameter rods for arms. I designed the top plate mounting points for 30.5 mm mount OpenPilot Revolution flight controller.

The basic build requires 4 motor mounts, 4 landing legs, 8 rod holders (4 nut, 4 regular) and both frame plates. You can also print Revo protector and protector standoff if required. The GPS mount is available as a separate published item. The hull is printed from two parts, and joined together with CA glue. It attaches to the top plate with a few pieces of velcro.
