This thing is a stand-in for the authenticator device used by Blizzard Software for World of Warcraft and other BattleNet games.
It is not directly useful, but rather, is intended to make other things like skins and cases to fit an actual authenticator.
This thing was created for the purpose of making the hearthstone authenticator box seen in the remixes. But you can use your imagination and come up with your own thin as well.
