I made two versions, a closed version and an open version.
If you print this in white or clear, then the LED will shine through the plastic.
It only has to go through 0.5mm's of plastic.
The holder will fit into a 3/8" or 10mm hole.
I made the housing a little shorter and I scaled up the nut a little so it fits easier. Now it is a 13mm nut.
I wanted a way to make a soft back light behind this ceiling fan remote controller.
This works great. I left the nut off the holder and threaded it into a 3/8” hole in my wall.
