5mPro latch

made latching for School printers as part of risk assesiment.

You need only 5mm shaft Dowel, of M5 which is about 28mm in length. I do recommend printing the latch red as contrasting colour, and glue the latch in place for Students and alike to avoid opening the doors by accident and have tier system to access with knowledge while the machine is on.


updated a new push to lock button. it comes in 3 pieces easy assembly with a 1.75X3 20mm filament insert and glue. you can choose any colour combo I like it red and black. its safer and far easier with 3d printer next to each other.

I plan to re wire the rear switch to make a Emergncy stop button for further improve the scope of safety for UK schools.
