All of my switches are SPST, and I hate having to run a bunch of wires all over the place to split power, so I threw this together to help with both distribution and keeping things together. One 2.1mm DC input, five 2.1mm DC outputs, wired to SPST switches.
Switch plate is held to the case by four 4-40 screws--the ones I have are 3/8" long. Case hanging screws are designed for #6 wood screws.
You can see in the pictures that I burned the sides a bit with my soldering iron. I also updated the design after that print to be a little deeper, keeping the switch blades a little further away from the plugs. I wired the ground all together, then ran my 12v through the top blades, and short wires from the bottom blades to center pins.
Here's the parts I used (all of which I had lying around from other projects):
- Right-angle 2.1mm DC plug: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07HVK588D/
- 4-40 3/8" screws: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00GDZEM9Q/
- 2.1mm DC jack: https://smile.amazon.
