This is my first 3D design to learn Fusion 360 - I do not feel responsible if something does not fits, or I made it unaccording to CAD-design best practices ;-)
Around 20 years ago I made 6-digit nixie clock. Recently found it my basement and refreshed by designing this new look and by replacing old Microchip 16F84A microprocessor with ESP32, which allowed me to use NTP for syncing time :-)
Presented clock uses Dolram LC-513 nixie tubes from 1984, but similar ones with same or smaller size should fit. I also use stands for my tubes - extra mounting holes in front panel are to mount them (could be hidden, but IMO it gives the look extra touch).
- Body:
Best to print back-wall down. Venting holes on top are covered with a slim layer of filament - can be cut-off afterwards with scalpell. On a back wall there is a mounting hole for old-style radio HV connector "8" - added it as I was able to mount 12V PSU inside the housing.
Inside you'll also find two rails for PCB mounting.
