608 Pulley Wheel

A pulley wheel using 2 x 608 bearings and an 8mm axle.

Originally included in my "Cable Cam" project, I wanted to present this pulley wheel on it's own.

Fusion 360 file included to modify to your preference and re-post the remixes...
Especially useful if your printer settings don't seem to fit the model well.

2 608 bearings are pressed into the wheel, and using an 8 mm threaded bolt as an axle seems to work like a charm. Dual nuts on each side can lock down the nuts, or use locking nuts with the nylon insert that prevents walkout.

A 608 press tool is included to assist in pressing in the bearings; Use an arbor press or gentle mallet to seat the bearings with a press fit using the press tool to only engage the outer race.
