This is a Keel Boat Kit based on a mix of the Lewis and Clark expedition and designs used in a couple books for TTRPGs.The model is specifically designed for an FDM Printer. It is also designed to be a sort of model kit for those that like to paint and build their own minis.I have included oars that are best printed on a resin printer. I am including these as a freebee.I see boats all around and none of them were easy to print or fun to print. I made this one to be easy for beginners who want to step it up in their printing. There shouldn't be any supports needed except for the benches and the door frame on the cabin. I tried to make the benches not need them and the only issue was that I wanted to maintain the woodgrain. If that doesn't bother you, then just flip the benches over and they need no supports.I would love to hear from anyone who prints this to see how they enjoy it.I'm more than happy to support anyone who has trouble with printing their file.Front Half = 103 mm x 174 mm x 12.7 mm Back Half = 98.8 mm x 131 mm x 12.7 mm Cabin Walls = 92.6 mm x 58 mm x 30.5 mm Cabin Roof Top = 96.4 mm x 62.6 mm x 2 mm Cabin Roof Bottom = 83 mm x 47.4 mm x 3.02 mm Ladder = 10.6 mm x 31.7 mm x 2.08 mm Mast = 10.2 mm x 10.2 mm x 55.2 mm Bench = 25 mm x 7.76 mm x 4 mmThe holes for where the boat bases meet are set for 1.75 mm filament. I prefer to just clip some off of an old roll rather than waste effort trying to print a connector. ( oddly enough 1.75 is the same size as a round toothpick in the U.S. )The Top and bottom roof snap together to make a removable roof that doesn't slip and slide.I print on the Creality Ender 5 pro. I could fit both bases on that bed, but most FDM printers fit at least one. It takes about 7 hours to print on part of the base in detail. It's another 7 hours to print all other parts together. Remember to pay attention to your retraction distance.I use Ultimaker Cura and set it on super quality. I find that the oar holes have no
