Realistic cowl for 1200 blasa wood RC model.It can be adapted to any size Piper Cub model. Just scale up or down according to your needs. The original PET cowl is very nice, but this one adds the following features>- realistic looks,- possibility for quick replicating it when damaging it,- cheap to manufacture,- possibility to add nose weight if printed thicker out of regular PLA.Printing instructions:- Print with 0% infill- 0 Bottom layers- 2 or 3 walls- 6-7 top layersNO supports.You can go for brim layers for better bed adhesion if you choose not to print bottom layers. Trim the inner tube and the brim after printing the model by using a dremmel tool or a hot soldering iron. Paint the way you like as in the attacked pictures.
