Oven Door Latch

This project came of necessity. One day I found my 15 month old granddaughter opening the oven door. The oven is a split design with the oven on the bottom and the grill (smaller oven) on top. It is built-in to the kitchen base units. The latch is installed on the lower edge of the top oven door with the slide piece sitting below the top of the main oven door. Rotating the top piece of the latch lifts the slide to allow the oven door to open. Releasing the top piece lets the slide drop bac
