Do you like The Lord of the Rings? Here I drop you a video of the gauntlet not entirely builded yet to show you how it works:https://www.instagram.com/p/Czv4FeLq3N6/V2.1. HOW TO BUILD ITEach finger has a different number of the same pieces called fingerpieceA. Starting by the thumb finger, the number of fingerpieceA you have to print is: x6, x7, x8, x7, x5. If you look at the images you may see it easily. Of course, you can print more or lees of these pieces in order to fit better your hands. Every finger has x1 fingerpieceB and x1 fingerpieceC, except the thumb, that hasn't got the fingerpieceB (look at the pictures if it is not clear). Then you got the knuckles (x1), and from closer to further: x1 handpiece1, x1 handpiece2, x1handpiece3, x1handpiece4. To end, x1 thumbfingerpiece, that is like a special finger piece but bigger made just for the thumb.Summarizing, to make the entire gauntlet you'll have to print:x33 fingerpieceA.stlx4 fingerpieceB.stlx5 fingerpieceC.stlx1 thumbfingerpiece.stlx1 handpiece1.stlx1 handpiece2.stlx1 handpiece3.stlx1 handpiece4.stlx1 knuckles.stlx1 armpiece.stlx1 hingeA.stlx1 hingeB.stlOnce you printed all, you have to join the hand pieces together. Notice that each piece has holes in it. The idea is to use these holes to attach the pieces together using nails or screws. If you don't have it or just don't want to buy them, don't worry, you can make your own nails to join the pieces, using filament! It's very easy and I did my gauntlet this way. Yoy have to cut a small piece of filament (like 1-2cm). Then, using a soldering iron, melt one side making a little bit of pressure, gently (have a look of the nail in the 7th picture). This is going to conform the head of the nail. Once you have that, pass the nail through the hole of the two pieces to join. Finish melting the other side of the nail, making another head, so it can´t get out. Process: https://www.instagram.com/p/Cz9csLeKnBE/
