It allows you to manage wires behind the desk leg in a clean way. If you wanted to have a proper cover for all the cables, just scale the model up in the Z direction and voila! (It may be a bit difficult to install it, but should be possible)Printing:I printed it with a 0.32mm layer height (0.4mm nozzle) 5 perimeters (so there are only perimeters, no infill) with 0.6mm extrusion width on perimeters. I initially printed it with 2 perimeters and 30% infill, but realized it was quite stiff. Printing it with only perimeters makes it a bit more springy.
