Got tired of those small snippets of filament samples, end of spool bits, etc, so here's a table top filament snippet spool, or, the "Filly Snippet Spool"!The base is simply a series of triangles, set off by 45 degrees, until a full circle is made, surrounded by another circle, to contain the points of the triangles. The column is @ 85mm ID, which turns out to be the perfect size to fit a disinfectant container (shown), or perhaps a water bottle...just something to add a little height, or weight if needed.I run the snippet directly from the spool to the carriage, using the added height of a container, and it feeds just fine.
