The flexible energy chain of the Creality K1 printer is located between the moving printhead and the printer's frame. When printing in the rear-left area of the bed, this chain often gets heavily crumpled and almost jams when the head presses it against the frame. By raising the frame-mounted side of the chain, we can prevent this issue from occurring. What I designed raises the starting point of the chain by about 10 mm. You can pop out the factory-installed starting link from the other chain links, and by removing the two mounting screws, it can easily be replaced with the elevated version. I've been using this for a while with my own custom-designed roof lifting system. I haven't tried it with the factory low roof.
