Revised Simple Mount for G1W Dashcam

I recently bought a G1W dash camera and was immediately dissatisfied with the included suction mount. It was too large, too visible and prevented me from mounting the camera completely behind the mirror.

This simple mount is under half the height of the suction mount, allowing the camera to be mounted more discreetly.

This is a revised version of my first attempt at a mount.
