Printrbot Metal Plus Spool Bracket

Spool bracket for Printrbot Metal Plus. Hole is sized to fit 3/4" PVC pipe.

It mounts onto 2 of the 4 Z axis screws at the top of the frame. This makes it very solid and doesn't affect the Z-axis guide.

It is way over-engineered. Use 2-3 walls and print with a 10-20% fill and it should work fine.


I printed a set (pictures attached). took ~2.5hrs per side. Cura and Repetier both have mirror functions to print the left bracket.


I will eventually update this to maintain rigidity
