Airplane airfoil tip with lattice metamaterial

Physical demonstrator of the use of an octet truss lattice in the application case of an impact absorber in the tip of a wing airfoil. I designed it as an academic test case for modelling of lattice metamaterials.
Octet truss wit (r/l = 0.1). From experience, is printable down to 0.4x scale for a skin width of 2 layers.

This model can also be seen as a little bit of a printing challenge for your printer, the diagonal trusses may give some trouble.
