Encouragement Egg for Chickens

We use these fake eggs to encourage our hens to lay eggs. When I was a kid we called them "seed eggs," but that term does not seem to be used much any more.

These eggs are the right size and shape for Cuckoo Maran chickens. Rhode Island Red eggs are the same shape but about 1.1x larger.

The shape was originally created in Inkscape and exported to OpenSCAD for extrusion.
