Automatic Fan/Aux Switch for the UP! Printer.

After making the stepper cooler, which ran off a separate power supply, I needed a way to automatically turn the fan on when the printer is active.
A way besides a master / slave powerboard.

So, here it is!
Simple little microswitch that turns the fan (or whatever else you want it to) when the platform is anywhere above shutdown state.

You'll need a microswitch that has the long metal tag (it's about twice the length of the plastic of the microswitch) - Pretty sure Jaycar has them.
