An M8 nut converted to lock an 8mm smooth rod in place.
On my P3steel there is nothing but friction to stop the rods from moving longitudinally.
This "lock nut" keeps them in place.
I use them on the X-axis.
They could be used on Y and Z too, but I use other solutions there.
It is easy to use and quick to adjust.
