Nema 17 Stepper Motor Stator and Armature Plate

This is a rough model of a stack of Stator Plates and Armature Plates. I am interested in building an Open Source Stepper Motor. I would like to see it be very much like the stepper motors we use today but producable from some of FOSS CNC tools used by this comunity.

The stator plate is a soft iron that when coiled creates the magnetic poles for the stepper.

If there is someone out there with a lase cutter I would love to have a bunch of these cut.
