Cosmere RPG | Skyeels

Skyeels are amphibious creatures who are as at home in the air as they are in the water. They’re long and slender with a dorsal fin that runs the length of their body, accompanied by wing-like fins on each side. When out of the water, a skyeel holds themself aloft with inflatable gas pouches under their side fins. Most adult skyeels grow to 4 or 5 feet long, but the rare greater skyeels can grow to 7 or 8 feet. While skyeels are carnivores, they feed predominantly on small land mammals and fish, rarely attacking humans. They travel alone or in flocks and hunt from the sky by expunging their gas sacks and diving toward prey. After diving, skyeels must spend time digesting their prey and refilling their sacks before they can take to the air again.
