This stand is designed to hold an iPad or other tablet for the purpose of stop motion animation. One side of the stand has a very slight angle and is for close-up shooting with the camera positioned on the bottom. The other side has a larger angle for medium-distance shooting with the camera positioned on the top. *Note: The middle groove looks like a third slot, but it is not intended to be.
