As we tend to use a lot less in this age where media is more commonly consumed in its pure digital form, we tend to have less reliance on physical media anymore.
This is a pity as some CDs and DVDs do come with such spectacular art, and are now just doomed to be trapped in must CD cases.
So the CD Stem was created as simple and meaningful way for collectors who still treasure having the physical discs to display and showcase their collection.
