Update Jan-07-2026: I added a simple case for the Pi on the back of the Frame. I glued it once I confirmed the ports cleared the openings, but next I'll try to join them both into a single part and add some back feet (no sure how easy it'd be to print)... stay tuned!
I had a recent 7in Display 2 for Raspberry Pi and just needed a simple Frame to help protect the back of the glass while leaving the Raspberry Pi accessible. I tried using a previous version (Display 1?) off-the-shelf case but it didn't fit, I also couldn't find something suitable freely available, so used Fusion 360 to make one.
The recessed area for the metal back part of the display fitted snuggly so I didn't need to use screws, but if you'd prefer, print this 1% larger so it fits a bit more loosely (although screw holes might not align then)
The frame was printed with a brim for better adhesion to my Ender3 Pro, and it helped it stand better (5° slant).
Next I'll try to design a snap-on cover for the Pi in the ba
