We’ve all been there staring at a power strip, trying to fit multiple plugs side by side, only to realize they’re playing a game of “plug Tetris.” It’s like they conspire against us! Well, I decided to take matters into my own hands. One day, while pondering this everyday annoyance, inspiration struck. Why not design an extension that lets plugs coexist peacefully? And so began my journey as a rookie product designer. I sketched out a simple idea: a cube-shaped extension. Each face of the cube would house plug sockets. Imagine a mini power tower—compact, efficient, and ready to tackle our plug related woes. With Autodesk Fusion 360 as my creative playground, I dived in. I adjusted dimensions, simulated plug fits, and tweaked until it felt just right. Safety features? Check. Stability? Double-check. Features That Matter 1. Space-Efficient: No more wasted plugholes. All four sides put to good use. 2. Stability: Even when loaded with eight devices, my cube stands tall. 3. Aesthetics: Say goodbye to wire tangles. Neat and organized. 4. Safety First: Surge protection and flame-resistant materials—because safety matters. This 8-plug extension isn’t a grand invention. It’s my humble attempt to solve a tiny problem. But you know what? Sometimes the best solutions come from thinking outside the box—or in my case, the cube. So here’s to my first product design—a little cube that packs a punch. May it light up your life (and your gadgets)! So, I decided to design my own multiplug extension where we can insert multiple plugs at the same time and it has a maximum capacity of 8 plugs at the same time. This was my first product design project and I hope I have justified my creativity and Innovative solution. I used Autodesk Fusion 360 for designing this product
