They instead are animated in the form of a Golem that would deliver a devastating beating to any students who might be attempting to take them without permission. Its hostilities can be disabled, should the student know the passcode to do so. It changes regularly, however, and only Lady Elara and Headmistress Delacour know the code. Access to the Forbidden Section of the library is open to any who know the way, but the way is everchanging. Only those who foresee its change may bestow that knowledge onto students and staff who seek it, with the only two being the Headmistress and the Head of Studies. Any who locate the hidden section on their own are welcome to enter it, but will find that it is not the inert hollow that they might have thought.
