Among the chittering millions of the subterranean empire, none embody the frantic scramble of the shadows quite like these lowborn killers. Born from the gutter-pools of the assassin clans, a Runner of the Night exists in perpetual momentum scaling sheer walls and slipping through cracks to bleed the enemy from the dark. Few ever see them until the trap is sprung. Survivors speak of a sudden scratching in the walls and fleeting, cloaked shapes in the periphery. By the time the alarm is raised, a poisoned stone has found an eye slit, a rusty dagger has twisted between armor plates, and the killers have already vanished back into the sewers.
