Blitzkrieg Germans

Blitzkrieg, or "lightning War", is a tactic born of the maturation of tank and airplane military technologies during the interwar period. It was used to devestating effect by Nazi Germany to attack Poland in 1939, and thereafter in France. It was a focused offensive, a campaign of annihilation to remove all resistance.
