Great Northern Popcorn Flap Closing Widget

This widget is designed for a Great Northern popcorn machine. I have an 8 oz, not sure if it will fit others. It's designed to loosely sit on top of the stirrer collar and bump the metal flaps down if they get stuck up. If the flap provides sharp resistance, the piece is designed to slide up the shaft of the stirrer to not damage the flap. The widget has little arms that grip the shaft to prevent it from falling off when you dump the kettle.
