Close Packed Layers

These models represent single layers of close-packed atoms. They can be used to represent either hcp (i.e. ab packing) or ccp (i.e. abc packing aka fcc). The pictures show abc packing. Each layer should be printed in a different color to easily display each layer. This model can be used in a classroom with a document camera.
