Yamaha XT500 speedometer trip axle repair

If you happen to own XT500 and your trip axle gets broken, you will find a cure from this tiny spacer gear. Axle has a circlip croove which is the weakest point of axle, it will broke from there if it will. This spacer is precise copy of original only wider so it will hide the breaking point of axle and reinforce it. Spacer is a tight fit, but tip of Epoxy glue is recommended to bond spacer to axle on installation.
